Welcome to Apna Punjab. By downloading or using the Apna Punjab app or website (together, "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Using the Service

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial language learning. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where permitted by law.
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or to send unsolicited messages.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, our servers, or related infrastructure.
• Copy, redistribute, or resell our word lists, illustrations, audio, or other content without written permission.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may use the Service in guest mode without an account; certain features (sync, multiplayer) require signing in.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

All illustrations, audio, code, and word data in the Service are owned by Apna Punjab or our licensors and are protected by copyright. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for learning Punjabi. We retain all other rights.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

Apna Punjab is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, the terms of those purchases will be presented to you at the point of sale and processed through the App Store or Google Play. Refunds are handled by the relevant store under their refund policies.

5. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the in-app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific learning goals.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apna Punjab will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Apna Punjab operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
